MARKETING EXECUTIVE
Charlotte is a proficient and competent logistics consultant who possesses a wealth of expertise in supply chain and logistics. She has a remarkable proficiency in utilising logistics analysis and modelling techniques. With more than 19 years of experience in automated and manual DC design, Charlotte has an extensive background in cost modelling for DC operations, as well as procurement of third-party logistics services, and determination of own account vs outsourcing decisions.
Throughout her career, Charlotte has undertaken numerous projects, demonstrating her ability to efficiently conduct network capacity modelling, in-depth data analysis, and modelling, and deliver successful outcomes in warehouse operations.
Having completed his master’s in mathematics from the University of Bath, Joel is well-versed in Statistics and Modelling. Additionally, he has a proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPivot and is adept in programming languages like R and MATLAB. The degree program equipped Joel with a range of analytical skills that enabled him to tackle intricate problems with ease.
Since joining the Supply Chain Consulting Group, Joel has worked on projects including network strategy, warehouse operational design, warehouse process improvement and inventory optimisation for clients across various sectors, such as FMCG, Retail, Fashion and Industrial sectors.
Andreea is in charge of overseeing all marketing activities, campaigns, and associated endeavours at SCCG. She manages the company’s website, social media platforms, content creation, and is also responsible for developing project case studies, news, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Moreover, Andreea is a certified user of HubSpot CRM and has been certified as an Adobe associate in visual design using Adobe Photoshop. She is well-versed in a range of tools, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Spark, Gimp, Canva, WordPress CMS, Hootsuite, and HubSpot.
With a BA (Hons) degree in Advertising and Marketing from Coventry University, Andreea’s primary focus is to enhance SCCG’s online and offline presence and take the company’s marketing efforts to the next level.
Craig has an extensive background in Supply Chain, with diversified experience working for prominent logistics service providers both in the UK and overseas. In 2013, he co-founded GO Supply Chain Consulting, which is now part of The Supply Chain Consulting Group. Throughout his career, Craig has held management roles in logistics service providers and has directly worked on projects across 12 European countries. His areas of expertise span operations benchmarking and design, as well as supply chain strategy, with a focus on FMCG, Retail, Automotive, and Industrial sectors.
Craig is a graduate of Durham University, and he is a member of the CILT. He possesses a wide range of skills in logistics and supply chain operations, with key areas of expertise that include European logistics service providers’ transport optimisation, supply chain network strategy design, and warehouse design.
With almost 30 years of experience in the third-party logistics industry, Tim is a highly skilled logistics professional. He possesses a perfect blend of practical, technical, and strategic management expertise, which he has gained while working at senior levels in major organisations. Thanks to his significant solution design proficiency, Tim is a hands-on consultant who can effectively merge practical operational knowledge with up-to-date analytical and modelling techniques. Throughout his career, he has worked in diverse sectors, such as drinks logistics, food services, automotive, industrial, newsprint, and pharmaceuticals.
Tim is a graduate of the University of Plymouth, and he has spent a considerable amount of time working in mainland Europe, Ireland, and the UK mainland. He has successfully delivered projects in various countries, including the US and Japan.
Gavin is an experienced and adaptable Supply Chain and Logistics consultant, with over 22 years of experience in the field. He began his career in 1996 in third-party logistics, working in business development and operations roles before transitioning into consultancy in 2004. In 2013, he co-founded GO Supply Chain Consulting, which is now part of The Supply Chain Consulting Group, one of the premier Logistics and Supply Chain consultancies in the UK.
Gavin’s clients range from medium-sized companies to global corporations, including Supermarkets, Retailers, FMCG and Industrial Manufacturers, Wholesalers, and Third-Party Logistics companies. He provides his expertise in the UK and internationally. Gavin’s strongest areas of specialisation are Distribution Network Strategy, DC/Warehouse Design and Optimisation, Cost to Serve and Cost/Benefit Analysis, Inventory Optimisation, and Automation, including systems specification, selection, and implementation.
Gavin is a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. He holds an MSc. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University.
Marta obtained her MSc. in Global Supply Chain Management from Middlesex University and has been a part of the company since February 2017. At SCCG’s Slough office, located in close proximity to Heathrow Airport, she manages the analyst team and is responsible for overseeing client data management and the outputs of the analyst team.
Marta possesses a strong skill set in the analysis of large and intricate data sets, utilizing tools such as Access, Excel, PowerPivot/PowerQuery, and third-party software such as PTV. She employs both proprietary/custom modelling tools and third-party software to evaluate various supply chain and logistics scenarios and deliver high-quality, well-presented, and insightful outputs.
Her consulting experience includes logistics network strategy projects for leading manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers, as well as warehouse design projects in FMCG, Retail, and Fashion sectors.
Phillip has an extensive background in logistics and warehousing, having worked for over 30 years in materials management, procurement, warehouse management, UK & European logistics, supply chain optimisation, and quality management.
He has expertise in vendor management, inbound/outbound logistics, and e-fulfilment centre design, with a focus on optimising pick rates and efficiency. Additionally, he has eight years of experience in facilities and engineering management.
Phillip specialises in warehouse and distribution centre layout and optimisation, as well as WMS integration, and uses his expertise to provide clients with detailed layout designs and equipment requirements using our in-house CAD design facilities.
He is a Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport and has completed over 100 projects for a variety of clients, including extensive work in the public sector.
With more than 25 years of experience in supply chain consulting, Kenneth is a skilled professional in developing and optimising logistics operations. He specialises in utilising advanced modelling techniques to create logistics strategies and improve operational efficiencies, and has a proven track record of delivering tangible benefits to clients through effective stakeholder engagement.
Kenneth’s expertise lies in logistics strategy development, operational review, analysis and improvements, supply chain and logistics network modelling and design, business case development, stakeholder engagement, solution implementation, warehouse and distribution centre optimisation, including design, workflows, layouts, processes, automation, control systems, and WMS specification and integration.
He is highly proficient in the development of spreadsheet-based simulation tools and decision support models and regularly supports clients with warehouse planning and strategic transport network design.
Kenneth has worked with clients in various industries including retail, general manufacturing, wholesale, third-party logistics and distribution, automotive, food production, and life sciences, across the UK, Europe, USA, Asia, and Australia. He is a member of the Institute of Logistics and holds a BSc. (First Class) in Pure Mathematics & Theoretical Physics and a Masters in Operational Research.
Patryk obtained a master’s degree in manufacturing & Production Engineering Management from the University of Hertfordshire, which included comprehensive modules in Operations and Supply Chain Management. He possesses proficiency in using CAD, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPivot systems.
Patryk has previously worked in the logistics sector for Marks & Spencer, where he focused on Clothing & Home Products in the Warehousing Operations Department.
Since joining SCCG, he has worked on a variety of network strategy, warehouse design/improvement (including As-Is and To-Be process mapping, pick face optimisation and material flow modelling), and transport optimisation projects for major clients and is adept at handling data from logistics systems.
Ian, is both a Strategic and Operational Logistics Consultant with over 25 years’ experience in developing and optimising logistics operations. He has extensive and significant experience in Automation having run many projects involving the design, procurement, installation, commissioning and testing of highly automated warehouses and production facilities. He has also successfully set-up, both in-house and outsourced automation maintenance contracts.
His key skills are Logistics Strategy Development and Operational Review, Strategic Organisational and Network Design, Business Case Development, Solution Implementation and Warehouse and Distribution Centre Optimisation including design, workflows, layouts, process, automation, control systems, and WMS specification and integration.
His sector experience includes Grocery & General Merchandise Retail, Food Production & Processing, FMCG, Ecommerce, Technology, Automotive, Third Party Logistics and Parcel Delivery sectors.
He is effective at engaging with key stakeholders and integrating quickly and with all levels of the client’s business so ensuring that he delivers real benefits to client organisations. He brings wide cross-sector experience to bear on all projects with rigorous analysis and innovative thinking. He has supported clients and projects in UK, Europe, USA, and Asia and deals very well in all cultural environments.
Ian is an apprentice trained Electrical Controls Engineer, holds an MSc. from Cranfield School of Management in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and has held senior roles in Daifuku, CHEP, DHL, Amazon Logistics and Honeywell Integrated.
Kenneth, is a Transport and Distribution Modeller and Solutions Designer, highly experienced in the strategic development of supply chains and the tactical design of logistics operations as well as distribution optimisation.
Kenneth has worked with SCCG since 2010 and has a background in contract logistics design with several major 3PLs, and has over 18 years of experience specialising in simulation modelling, most especially transport resource analysis, transport modelling, strategic network design, detailed operational transport schedules, depot locations and boundary definitions as well as own vehicle fleet vs. contractor optimisation.
Kenneth is one of the UK’s leading users of the DiPS transport planning software, which enables him to conduct both high level and/or highly detailed optimisation analysis in determining our clients transport fleet and infrastructure requirements. This includes both the size and type of resources required, and the optimal geographic positioning of the infrastructure such as warehouses and DCs etc…
In addition to transport resource analysis, Kenneth is highly proficient in the development of spread sheet based simulation tools and decision support models, and regularly supports clients with warehouse and production planning.
Clients that he has worked with include DX Group, Pointons, Greencore Group, Farmfoods, DHL, Exel, Greene King, Morrisons, TDG, Wincanton, Monkfield Nutrition, Epwin Group, IKEA and many more.
With over 20 years of experience, John is a highly skilled and versatile Supply Chain and Logistics consultant. He has held roles in transport planning and solution design development for several 3PLs.
During his career, he has focused on developing and examining distribution operations for clients across various industries such as FMCG, Drinks, Food Service, and MOD, catering to their specific requirements.
John’s expertise lies in data analysis, producing costs, and developing tariffs. He is also an experienced transport modeler and proficient in using various routing software applications.
As the administrator for the company, Rachael oversees and manages all administrative functions. Since joining the team in 2011, she has played a crucial role in the development and implementation of office processes, ensuring they are followed by all employees.
She spearheaded the development of the ISO 9001 Quality process and is responsible for maintaining the company’s Quality Accreditation, including achieving the current ISO 9001-2015 Standard.
In addition, Rachael provides admin support to the directors and consultants, including project support to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed, formatted, and processed accurately. She ensures that all customer and client needs are met efficiently.
Ashley brings a wealth of experience to the table, having spent eight years as a member of Sainsbury’s Logistics Strategy team, managing and contributing to complex change projects. His expertise covers a broad range of areas, including warehouse process analysis, depot capacity maximisation, network strategy, and transport optimisation.
Ashley specialises in warehouse design and implementation of high-level and low-level automation for traditional and online fulfilment operations, as well as Warehouse Management System (WMS) specification and implementation. He has worked on several complex projects, collaborating with integrators, architects, developers, and stakeholders to create scalable and cost-efficient operations.
Ashley’s portfolio includes taking ownership of the design and business case for Sainsbury’s Latest Generation Clothing Online fulfilment centre from concept to approval. He has also worked as a Project Manager for a Factory to Shelf retail initiative, using Six Sigma methodologies to map depot inbound processes and analyse supplier adherence.
Ashley holds a BSc in International Management with American Business Studies from The University of Manchester and has a Green Belt Six Sigma certification.
Lisa is a highly experienced Senior Consultant with a diverse background in Supply Chain and Logistics. With over 20 years of experience in the field, Lisa has specialised in data analysis and has a proven track record in third-party, supplier, and retail logistics.
One of her key specialities is in creating statistical dashboards and models that drive efficiency improvements and inform decision-making. Lisa’s career began in third-party logistics, where she held various roles in business development, perpetual inventory, transport planning, and solution design/data analysis.
Later, she transitioned to the food service and retail sectors, where she managed third-party logistics providers and drove operational changes and improvements. Throughout her career, Lisa has demonstrated a strong ability to identify inefficiencies and optimise supply chain processes to meet the unique needs of her clients.
