Jestic Foodservice Equipment Case Study

The Supply Chain Consulting Group Review Warehouse Operations For Jestic Foodservice Equipment

Since opening for business in Tunbridge Wells in 2005, Jestic Foodservice Equipment (Jestic) has been an integral part of the foodservice industry, working closely with clients, chefs and brands around the world to become renowned for providing catering equipment that does more than just cook.

Jestic represent some of the world’s finest and most innovative foodservice equipment manufacturers, with particular emphasis on the design and supply of the latest in open kitchen and theatre-style cooking.

With over a decade of experience in the catering equipment market, customers can be assured that Jestic truly understands the requirements of the contemporary kitchen. Celebrating 10 years of dedication to the foodservice industry in 2015; Jestic acquired Hugall Services, further strengthening the capabilities of the Jestic service division.

Following concerns within the Jestic management team regarding supply chain processes supporting the business and in particular with the level and mix of parts inventory and the layout of their warehouse; Jestic engaged The Supply Chain Consulting Group (SCCG) to review the current supply chain processes and to identify areas which require more detailed assessment.

Conducted in two phases, The SCCG team of Specialist Supply Chain and Logstics Consultants reviewed the Jestic current supply chain processes. The experienced Consultants reviewed inventory levels, and warehouse operations.

SCCG provided Jestic with a set of cost effective recommendations, and an implementation plan, to improve control of their inventory levels and warehouse processes, and guide the next step of areas for improvement.
