Supply Chain Co-op in the Korean Kaesong Region

Kaesong is a special region of North Korea. The industrial park in Kaesong operated as a collaborative economic development zone between North Korea and South Korea. Whilst the park is now closed, the president of South Korea (Moon Jae-in) has expressed a desire to reopen and expand the park.

This infographic looks at the logistical considerations, the closures of Kaesong, the types of manufacturing, the figures regarding the workforce and much more.

Kaesong would have been a part of an International Supply Chain, as they would both source and distribute internationally.
