The specialist Food Logistics and Distribution team at Gideon Hillman Consulting have successfully worked with their clients in delivering reduced cost logistics and supply chain solutions for a number of years. Clients include major Food brand names as well as Food Service and Commercial Catering Businesses and Food Logistics companies.
The team members each has between 15 and 30 years operational management experience with major Food Manufacturers and Third Party Logistics providers. Their combined expertise covers all aspects of Multi-temperature Distribution & Warehousing, Materials Management, Procurement, Stores & Inventory Management, European Logistics, Materials Handling, Vendor Management, Vendor Support Operations and Supply Chain Optimisation.
The key to delivering effective Supply Chain Management is on developing and implementing cohesive strategies from Procurement of ingredients and raw materials through manufacturing and processing to final product delivery and Customer Service.
Current projects include the commercial negotiation and implementation of a new outsourced Frozen logistics operation for a large food processing operation.
